NNTM Contest Details

Applications for NNTM will be open from Tuesday, January 3rd until Thursday, January 26th. Each applicant will be required to fill out a short form including a mini bio and explanation to why they want to be NNTM 2017. Along with the form, each applicant will need to send two current photos. One will be a head shot, the other a full body shot. This is used to identify the applicants during our industry workshop on Saturday, January 28th.

The first weekend there will be a workshop with industry professionals and all the applicants, so everyone can learn posing/catwalking techniques, as well as learn about the modeling industry. From these industry professionals we will be selecting a panel of 4-5 judges. These judges will go through all the applications submitted to select our Top 16* models.

The weekend after will be the photoshoots (locations TBD) We will do three separate shoots. The photographer will then have two weeks to complete all editing of the photos.

* Depending on the number of participants.

Voting

Voting now begins! We will take the top 16* models from the first photoshoot and post them on our website. NAIT students will have until Feb 26th at noon to vote for their favourite, we will then have our first elimination round where two models will be eliminated.

We will release photos from the second shoot, of the remaining models. Our second elimination will then take place, having 2 more models eliminated.

We will release photos from our third photoshoot, of the remaining models. Our third elimination will then take place and 2 more models will be eliminated.

The Top Model Finale will require the remaining models to go through hair, makeup and wardrobe. They will have an opportunity to showcase themselves in front of our panel of judges and our NAIT student body in the Nest.
