Sep 15, 2023 | Off-Campus, Volunteer

Breathe Smart is our educational presentation on all things lung. These sessions (often at schools or public events) teach about lung health, disease, air quality, vaping and more. Our facilitators handle outreach to book sessions and present in a engaging, informative manner.

Qualifications:

Background or interest in science, health or education.

Flexible schedule- sessions are usually during school hours. Mornings especially.

Reliable transportation- you are responsible for driving to and from sessions with the kit. It is too large for public transport.

Training:

You will be trained to use our presentation kit, interactive lungs and presentation PowerPoint.

Benefits:

Facilitators will receive $100 per 1 hour session and for travel over a certain amount in areas surrounding Edmonton, partial gas reimbursement. Volunteer credit and/or reference letter is available for those who volunteer regularly long-term.
