The Cerebral Palsy Association in Alberta – Edmonton is currently recruiting Community Ambassadors. In partnership with Value Village (NAIT) our ambassadors will promote the CPAA mission and values.


Promote the Cerebral Palsy Association in Alberta by engaging in meaningful conversation with the individuals visiting or shopping at the location

• Promote the mission and vision of the agency
• Hand out promotional materials such as flyers and coupons to the visitors, shoppers and donors
• Encourage visitors to bring clothing and household item donations to the store which in turn support the CPAA programs and services
• Promote programs and services provided by the agency
• Promote fund raising events organized by the agency
• Answer questions about the agency and provide forms when necessary

• Must be courteous and personable with good interpersonal skills and a friendly manner
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Able to answer questions in a pleasant manner
• Be self-directed, willing to take initiative
• Good organizational, written and verbal skills

Training for this position will be provided

Volunteer location: 11850-103rd Edmonton, AB T5G 2J2
Commitment Required: One day or more per week Tuesday/Friday/Saturday – approximately 2 hrs/day (daytime and/or evening)
