NAITSA is Hiring Students to be part of our Event & Promotions Staff!
Your Students’ Association is recruiting a pool of energetic and outgoing students to help provide campus experiences where students’ memories of campus life will be cherished for years to come! The students we’re looking for will be able to pick up part-time casual shifts throughout the school year.
Applicants must be students attending NAIT in the 2018-2019 academic year, have excellent interpersonal skills, and love talking and interacting with other NAIT students.
All successful applicants will be hired to a general pool, and shifts can be picked up based on availability and desire to work or promote specific events. These positions involve various schedules and would report to the event or promotion supervisor. If you’re looking for super flexible part-time work on campus, this opportunity could be perfect for you!
Events take place both on- and off-campus. Each event will have different shifts that could include participant registration, event set-up/tear-down, coordinating with guest presenters, etc., with a goal of creating epic memories for students at every single event. Students working with the Events Team must have a keen eye for customer service, be detail-oriented, and a creative problem solver.
To gain the attention of the student body, we need to get the word out to students. This might include acting as part of a “street team” and chatting with students in the hallways, working a booth and engaging with students passing by, or even participating in a flash mob. Students working with the Promotions Team need to be high energy, enjoy talking with strangers, and generally be awesome to be around.
– Must be a current student enrolled at NAIT in the 2018-2019 school year
– Must have AGLC Pro-Serve certification (which we would happily provide free of charge)
– Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
If this opportunity looks interesting, and you want to be a part of the Event & Promotions Staff, please apply with a resume and cover letter in PDF, addressed to Jen Grundke, Campus Life Director. This posting will remain open until enough successful candidates are found.
