How to: Snowshoe
January 30 @ 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Join us as we explore a winter wonderland!
Snowshoeing was initially invented as a method of transportation, and is now used primarily for recreation and physical activity. We’re partnering with Haskin Canoe to offer a private guided tour for students through the snowy trails of Islet Lake.
Participants will have the chance to trek through forested trails under the starry night sky. Before heading back to NAIT, we’ll warm up with a toasty fire and some hot cocoa. Pizza will be provided before the event.
$15 will include transportation, supper, snowshoe rentals, and s’mores.
Please note: This is an outdoor event and participants are required to dress for the weather. Full outerwear and warm footwear is essential.
