Stretch for Success

Work science. The process of designing and arranging work spaces tools, and systems to fit the people that use them.

Join us on March 17th at 6:30pm for a 1-hour interactive virtual event that discusses how to use ergonomics to better set up your desk and workspace to reduce strain on the body and stretch out target areas.

Lisa Huskins from Leading Edge Physiotherapy, will discuss simple and inexpensive ways to improve your workspace to reduce strain on your neck, back, wrists and other target areas and then help you to stretch out these areas to release even more tension.

This FREE event will leave you relaxed and ready to increase the efficiency of your workspace. to tackle the end of the semester. One lucky participant will be randomly selected to receive a $100 relaxation massage gift card!

Lisa Huskins’ Bio

Lisa graduated with a Masters in Occupational Therapy from the University of Alberta but quickly garnered further training and credentials in functional capacity evaluation, ergonomic assessment and advanced orthotic prescription. Utilizing her Matheson training, she has extensive experience providing detailed medical-legal, return to work and rehabilitation functional evaluation assessments. She has performed hundreds of ergonomic assessments to date, mainly in the office setting, helping people adjust their postures, utilize their equipment properly and reduce repetitive strain injuries while working on computers.
