Trick or Treat
October 31 @ 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Don’t you miss the excitement of Halloween as a kid? Where you can dress up in a cool costume and anxiously wait for nightfall so you can go out and trick or treat with your friends and family? If so, join us for our annual Trick or Treat event!
Trick or Treat is an annual tradition at NAITSA, where volunteers go trick or treating on Halloween night to collect non-perishable food items to fill the NAITSA Food Centre. The Food Centre is a resource we have on campus available to any NAIT students who need a little extra help getting enough food to eat. This event is key to the success of the campus Food Centre; last year alone we collected 3,396lbs of food!
This event encourages community connection and prides volunteers in knowing they are making a MASSIVE difference in the lives of fellow NAIT students. Plus, we’ll be having a pizza party as an appreciation event for all the volunteers! At the end of the night, we will be heading to Boston Pizza to celebrate all the students who made this event a success. If you’re in a club, Trick or Treat is also a great opportunity to earn Giv’er Points.
Although it’s free to attend, we do require registration so we can plan food and transportation accordingly. This event is open to all NAIT students, as well as their friends and family. If you have specific friends or family members that you would like to be grouped with, please sign up early and specify this on the registration form.
The schedule for the event will be as followed:
Registration at Shaw Theater (X123) 4:00 PM | Bus leaves at 5:00 PM | Pick-ups in neighbourhoods 8:00 PM | Boston Pizza 9:00 PM
