STUDENT
GOVERNANCE

The NAIT Students’ Association is a non-profit organization created in 1964, under the mandate of the Government of Alberta to protect the best interests of NAIT students. NAITSA is governed by a set of Official Bylaws and a Constitution, and per these directives, the student body annually elects student leaders to serve as their representatives on the Senate and Executive Council. The Executive Council shapes the direction of NAITSA’s ongoing advocacy efforts to effect policy changes on behalf of students and leads NAITSA staff in their efforts to provide students with opportunities, entertainment, perks and benefits that wouldn’t exist without the students’ association.
