We’re Hiring Microwave Service Agents!
Do you value the importance of clean, sanitary microwaves? Do you get into the groove when you are cleaning? If so, you might be a good fit for the role of NAITSA Microwave Service Agent!
Reporting to the U-Pass and Food Service Coordinator, this position has the following overall responsibilities:
- Cleaning approximately 77 microwaves on NAIT main campus weekly
- Replacing broken microwaves as needed
- Ensuring good communication with supervisor
- Logging notes and info to other staff
NAITSA, as a non-profit organization, provides services, representation and leadership to students enrolled in credit and apprenticeship programs in one of Canada’s largest polytechnic institutions. Our Service Hub helps make life as a student easier through our services and programs. NAITSA proudly provides more microwaves than any other campus in Alberta. Qualifications / Required Skills / Considerations
If you’re interested in being a part of this team, there are several key skills and attributes you should make sure you review below before you apply:
- Current NAIT student for the 2020/21 academic year
- Experience in cleaning or hospitality industry
- Ability to communicate to staff and students
- Able to lift up to 40lbs
- Reliability to attend shifts
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
Asset (not required):
- Driver’s License
The Microwave Service Agent is a part-time seasonal position from September 2020 – April 2021. Microwave Service Agents clean one day per week on an assigned schedule. The salary is paid semi-monthly.
