NAITSA Nimbus Ambassador

NAITSA is looking for ambassadors for the Nimbus Learning platform! Are you looking for some fun volunteer experience to add to your resume? Do you enjoy working at event booths and creating social media content? Consider joining NAITSA as a volunteer Nimbus Ambassador! What is a Nimbus Ambassador? Nimbus Ambassadors promote Nimbus Learning – a mobile learning platform provider that is offered to students through a partnership between NAIT and NAITSA. We are seeking Nimbus Ambassadors for the upcoming academic year (September 2022 to April 2023) to help promote the platform. Responsibilities:

• Create 2-3 videos per term. These videos will be posted on your social media to promote Nimbus.
• Hold 1 group study session per term
• Volunteer an average of 15 – 20 hours throughout the academic year at various events and booths on campus
• Participate in 1 hour monthly meetings
• Participate at our Study Party event
• Other duties as assigned

Training Dates:

• August 22, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
• August 24, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Volunteer shifts for events and booths on campus:

• September 1-2, 2022
• September 6-7, 2022
• September 13-14, 2022
• November 21-25, 2022
• March 13-17, 2023

Monthly Meetings *Monthly meeting dates are subject to change based on volunteer availability.

Conditions To be considered for the volunteer role of NAITSA Nimbus Ambassador, candidates must be available for the above listed training dates.
