Grammarly, a digital writing assistant that can help with grammar, spelling, style, tone and more, is now available to NAIT students. In addition to helping with your writing, Grammarly can help ensure you cite your sources properly by checking for plagiarism.
Grammarly can be used with Microsoft Office, Windows and OS (MAC) operating systems and Google Chrome and is accessible through your computer, iPad or cellphone.
Grammarly access is funded through a successful Student Enhancement Fund (SEF) application and will be available until August 1, 2023 to all current NAIT students. The successful SEF application was submitted in collaboration between the NAIT Students’ Association and NAIT’s Department of Student Learning Success. It was supplemented by a successful trial within the Bachelor of Technology program, required collaboration with Library Services and Grammarly and has garnered support from many different areas across NAIT. The SEF was established through the substantial donation made by the NAIT Students’ Association as part of the Essential campaign, as well as through the generosity of donors that support the NAIT fund and aims to foster student success and improve the student experience at NAIT.
