The Science Garage invites guests of all ages to get their hands and minds busy with science as they create, compete, tinker, test, and build their way through a wide variety of activities and displays. This highly interactive gallery features several unique elements including a magnetic roller coaster wall, kinetic dance floor, vertical wind tunnels, freedom climber walls, and a refurbished ball machine.

This gallery also features a fully operational makerspace, stocked with a variety of random materials. Guests are tasked with putting their imaginations to the ultimate test by using materials available to complete a specific challenge or build something entirely new. Help them tackle their challenges!

TELUS World of Science – Edmonton (TWOSE) is located in amiskwacîwâskahikan in Treaty Six Territory and the Métis Nation of Alberta Region 4. We are the destination to engage Albertans’ hearts and minds in science, with a mission to ignite curiosity, inspire discovery, celebrate science, and change lives.

Our guests are diverse and so are we. TWOSE is deliberate in building a culture that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive. Science is for everyone, and we need team members with diverse perspectives, identities, abilities, and expressions. As such we encourage Black, Indigenous, and racialized peoples, persons living with disability and neurodiversity, women, sexual and gender minorities, and members of all minority groups to apply.
