Don’t you miss the excitement of Halloween as a kid? Where you can dress up in a cool costume and anxiously wait for nightfall so you can go out and trick or treat with your friends/family. If so, join us for our annual Trick or Treat event!
Trick or Treat is an annual tradition at NAITSA, where volunteers go trick or treating on Halloween night (October 31st) to collect non-perishable food items to fill the NAITSA Food Centre. This event is key to the success of the campus Food Centre; last year alone it added an additional 3,396 lbs of food, which was provided to the students in need.
Prior to Halloween, volunteers will head out onto the streets on two different dates (October 16 & 17) to flyer the neighbourhood homes to let the residences know that we will have volunteers asking for food donations. Just as we did last year, we will again be collecting in the Highlands/Beverly neighbourhoods.
This event encourages community connection and prides volunteers in knowing they are making a MASSIVE difference in the lives of fellow NAIT students.
This event is registration only. This event is open to all NAIT students and non-NAIT volunteers. If you would like to be in a group with specific people, please come to registration early. Also, if you are part of a club, Trick or Treat is a great opportunity to earn Giv’er Points!
