NAITSA Volunteer Awards

Each year, NAITSA strives to provide students with a variety of volunteer opportunities. In turn, we like to honour the volunteers that have dedicated their time to their school and/or charity of choice. NAITSA has three awards available to recognize student volunteers. Students are welcome to apply for the awards themselves or nominate someone that they believe deserves an award. Each nominee may enter more than one category.

The 2019/2020 Volunteer Awards are:

Outstanding Member of the NAIT/NAITSA Community

This award is dedicated to students who have made a difference with their time on campus.

Outstanding Member of the Greater Community

This award is dedicated to students who have made a difference within their community and/or an external charity or non-profit organization.

Outstanding Member of NAITSA with the Most Hours

This award recognizes the student who has spent the most hours volunteering (on or off campus) during the academic school year.

Need some incentive to apply? How about some money!

Each award will receive a $500 prize. $250 of that prize will be given to the student and the remaining $250 will be donated towards a non-profit of the student’s choice. Nominations close on March 25th at 11:59 pm.
