What is Naitsa Sustainability?

NAITSA Sustainability is a committee of staff and student leaders within NAITSA that provides a green lens that identifies how NAITSA and NAIT students can be more sustainable. Our goal is to bring a more sustainably-focused culture to campus through a partnership with NAIT and to act as advocates for policies that result in positive environmental impacts. Beyond campus, we also aim to bring awareness to students about the impacts of their choices and how sustainability affects their own lives. The committee meets quarterly to discuss their initiatives and is constantly looking for opportunities to gain more knowledge about sustainable practices that could be brought to NAIT.
