Gallery Interpreters are the heart of the science experience at TELUS World of Science – Edmonton. As an interpreter, you will catalyze our guests’ curiosities and spark a lifelong love of science for many of our guests. By facilitating hands-on experiences, you will encourage them to explore, be curious, solve problems, ask questions, and discover new things.
Volunteers in CuriousCITY facilitate learning through play. This gallery is dedicated to early learners (6 and under), providing a safe space to let imaginations run wild. While not playing, volunteers will help with capacity management, cleaning and sanitizing the help keep the gallery safe.
This is an ideal landing spot for a volunteer that is young at heart. All applicants must be 15 years of age or older with grade 9 science. Volunteer staff are requested to commit to one, 3-5 hour shift per week over a period of three months, or the equivalent of 40 hours.
