Allstar Adapted Gymnastics Volunteers

This program allows youth with disabilities to truly feel like gymnasts. Each class is tailored to the special needs of these individuals and is facilitated by an instructor with support of physical therapist. It combines physical therapy with the opportunity to experience something new and is sure to boost confidence and self-esteem!

  • Training on how to work with the child is provided by a qualified therapist.
  • You may work with several children throughout the program.
  • You will assist the therapist in making the child’s experience memorable.
  • Be playful and engaged.

Screening

  • Fill out our volunteer application.
  • Provide a Criminal Reference check including a Vulnerable Sector Check: Every volunteer needs to file an ONLINE application with the police service which comprises of a police check and vulnerable sector check. You will receive an email from the Edmonton Police Service to get this underway, there will be no charge to you.
