I’m Mehtab Singh Brar, a 3rd year BTech student running for NAITSA President to be your reliable voice. I’ll lead with accountability, transparency, and purpose, ensuring students input shapes every decision. As an experienced leader who has worked closely with students, faculty, and administration, I understand how important it is to raise our voices where it matters the most. Together, we’ll build a bolder NAITSA!

I understand that a President’s role is not about making promises that can’t be guaranteed — it is about ensuring students are represented where decisions are made. As a President, I will advocate for student interests in conversations with NAIT administration and external bodies, making sure student voices are heard early and taken seriously.

I am committed to leading an accountable and collaborative executive council that works effectively in the best interest of students. Clear communication and transparency are essential to building trust, and I will prioritize keeping students informed about NAITSA’s work, decisions, and use of student fees through reports and open forums.

I also believe NAITSA leadership must reflect and support the diverse realities of NAIT students- from traders to tech innovators. I will advocate for inclusive and accessible student representation from every group and ensure concerns from all student groups are brought forward with respect and urgency.

My goal as President is simple: to lead responsibly, represent students honestly, and strengthen the connection between NAITSA and the students it serves.
