Dear NAITSA Community,

After careful consideration, the NAITSA Executive Council has decided to relieve Travis Luscombe of his duties as Vice President Internal, effective immediately.

Executive Council recognizes that the conduct that has been showcased does not align with the values and standards that NAITSA upholds. The Executive Council holds ourselves to the highest standards while guided by the Team Values and Mission Statement.

“Our actions will be held accountable, guided by patience and integrity, nurture a culture of respect, inclusivity, and open dialogue within our dynamic campus environment.” – Team Values and Mission Statement, Stanza 3, Executive Council 2023/2024

The decision to remove Mr. Luscombe from his role is in the best interest of our student body, and we are committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all. We want to express our gratitude for his contributions thus far and wish him the best in his future endeavours.

The sanctity of our elections is deeply valued within the organization and we will be reviewing bylaws, policies, and relevant documents to ensure the stability and solidity of NAITSA elections. NAITSA remains dedicated to serving the needs of our students and upholding the principles of integrity and accountability within our organization.

Sincerely,

Tyleen Saison, President
