NAITSA Hiring Cycles

January – Ooks Life Team
The Ooks Life Team brings energy and creativity to campus by helping plan and run events, campaigns, and engagement activities throughout the year.
Tip: Applications open the first week of January — start preparing your resume and cover letter in December.
March/April – Various Roles
Each spring, we post several student positions for the upcoming academic year, with training typically starting in August. These roles are perfect if you want to secure your spot before heading into summer break.
Positions typically include:
- Nugget Editors – lead and produce student-driven content for NAIT Nugget.
- Peer Supporters – provide peer-to-peer listening and support for fellow students.
- Academic Council Volunteers – be the student voice on academic matters at NAIT.
Tip: Applications usually open in March or April — apply early to be considered for the fall start.
Other Roles (As Needed)
