We work to create an engaging campus life experience for all students. If you want to get involved on campus, learn something new, or socialize, NAITSA hosts around 180 events each year. From meditation to dirty bingo, karaoke to cooking classes, you’re sure to find something that sparks your interest!
The Ooks Life brand and platform is a centralized hub for NAIT students to learn about different involvement opportunities and events across campus. Since 1964, the Ook has been NAIT’s official mascot, and it has become a regular sight on campus and well-known among NAIT students—making it the perfect symbol of NAIT campus life! These days, you’ll spot the Ook as NAIT’s athletic mascot, making appearances at NAITSA events, or serving main character energy on the @ookslife social media channels!

Event Policies
REFUNDS
Event refunds will be managed on a case-by-case basis. In the event of a cancellation where the event cannot be rescheduled, you will receive a refund. To inquire about a refund, please email us at naitsaevents@naitsa.ca. Repeated no-shows without notice may result in a ban from purchasing tickets.
No-Show
If you are unable to attend an event, please contact naitsaevents@naitsa.ca so that we can open your spot to another student. Refunds will only be given to students who inform us at least two business days before the event that they are unable to attend.
Late-Comers
If you are late for an event, your spot may be given to a student who is ready to participate. Please ensure you give yourself enough time to make it to the event. Reach out to naitsaevents@naitsa.ca if you have any questions about the event’s time, location, etc.
