Volunteer Tree Planting – Root For Trees

Oct 24, 2023 | Off-Campus, Volunteer

Root for Trees increases tree and shrub planting throughout the city with the help of corporations, local businesses, community groups, teams, families and individual residents. The Root for Trees program helps to expand Edmonton’s urban forest by planting trees for Edmontonians by Edmontonians.

Running from May until the middle of October, the program has three ways to volunteer; registered groups of 10 or more who must book their planting ahead of time, drop in programs which run on specified days and times and are free to join at any time, and special events.
