Deliver Meals & Smiles Across Edmonton

At Edmonton Meals on Wheels, we don’t just deliver food—we deliver connection, comfort, and care. Our Volunteer Drivers make sure clients receive nutritious meals and a friendly hello.

What You’ll Do

• Pick up and deliver meals from our downtown kitchen or local depots.
• Share short (5–10 min) visits with clients who are open to chatting.
• Notice and report client concerns to staff.
• Return bins and route sheets after deliveries.

What We’re Looking For

• Age 18+ with a valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
• Ability to carry up to 15 kg and manage stairs.
• Clear criminal record check (including a vulnerable sector check).
• Friendly, dependable, and comfortable with people of all backgrounds.

When You’ll Drive

• Day shifts: Mon–Fri, 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM and/or;
• Evening shifts: Wed & Thu, 4:30 PM – 7:00 PM
• Minimum 6-month commitment, with flexible scheduling.
