Hello fellow Ooks! I’m Robin Murillo, and I’m honored to be serving as your Vice President External for the 2025/26 academic year!

Welcome to the NAIT community!

My journey with NAIT began last year and I’m currently pursuing my Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources. Throughout my time at NAIT, I have seen countless opportunities being offered to enhance your experience. These opportunities are a way for you to try new things to CONNECT with people and getting INVOLVED. That’s why I encourage you to dive into campus life and make the most out of your time here in campus! You’ll never know what opportunities lie ahead of you! Through volunteering, I connected and gained a lot of friends. It gave me a glimpse of how things are being done, and I became curious about student governance. Then an opportunity arose, and I was elected as a NAITSA Senator. Serving as a NAITSA Senator, I was able to see firsthand how NAITSA operates and how they advocate for the needs of the broader NAIT community. This what inspired me to continue this journey.

My role as VP External is to advocate for all students, to external bodies such as the NAIT administration, local municipalities, and the federal and provincial government. I want to make sure that your concerns are being heard and we are getting it to the right people.
