Driver – Drive Happiness Seniors Association

Drive Happiness is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping older adults maintain their independence and connection to the community. As a Volunteer Driver, you will provide transportation for seniors to medical appointments, grocery shopping, social activities, and other essential destinations throughout the Edmonton area.

This role offers a meaningful opportunity to make a direct difference in someone’s day by providing safe, reliable transportation and friendly companionship. Volunteers use their own vehicles and choose shifts that fit their schedules.

Responsibilities:

– Drive older adults to and from appointments and activities
– Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle when needed
– Provide a friendly, respectful, and supportive experience
– Maintain confidentiality and professionalism

Requirements:

– Volunteer Application Form (on website)
– Police Clearance including Vulnerable Sector Check
– Clean Driver’s Abstract – last 3 years
– Copy of full Class 5 driver’s license
– Proof of registration
– Reliable vehicle and proof of insurance
