My Name is Eden Newberry. I am a first-year Disaster and Emergency Management student and candidate for the 2026/2027 Naitsa Senate election.

Why vote me? I want to build a campus where every student feels supported and that starts with strong governance! Senate is Naita’s oversight body. We are responsible for reviewing bylaws and approving annual budget, and keeping the big picture aligned with what the students actually need. I spend my free time volunteering with community leagues and have helped with the Fort McMurray fires and Mustard Seed these have taught me leadership comes from listening first. I’m ready to bring that collaborative organized energy to the senate floor to keep the student union accountable and focused on your success.
