Jugraj Singh

Zone 4

Hi everyone, my name is Jugraj Singh, and I’m a 3rd year student in BTech program with specialization in Project Management here at NAIT.

I’m running for Senate because I care about how NAITSA is governed. The Senate is the governing body of the association. It makes sure the Bylaws are followed, approves the annual operating and capital budgets, and handles general governance outside the Executive Council. That means holding the Executive Council accountable and giving the annual budgets the careful review they deserve before they’re approved. I take that responsibility seriously, and I’m ready to do it well.

I’ve been involved on campus since the day I started here. I’ve volunteered with both NAIT and NAITSA, and I also work at NAIT. That job isn’t directly tied to Senate, but it has given me a real understanding of how this campus operates and how decisions get made. Every one of those experiences has built my knowledge of this campus.

I know this campus, and I’ve been part of it since the start. Now I’m confident and ready to take the next step and serve on Senate.

Please vote for me. Thank you!
