VOTE MEHMET FOR SENATE (it rhymes!)

Hello everyone! My name is Mehmet, and I am a first year student within the Disaster & Emergency Management program at NAIT.

Elections make our voices heard. Participation in our democratic institutions are a right, and it should not be ignored. That is why I am running for NAITSA Senate. As a senator, I would have the power to hold the executive council–your representatives at NAITSA–accountable for their actions, and ensure their decisions align with student interests.

But my candidacy is only one half of the equation, since it is your vote that ultimately has the power to decide who occupies those seats! I hope to be one of them, and if I am, you can be assured that I will do my best to contribute to the governance of NAITSA.
