Term Loan

Our ESTL program is for unforeseen financial emergencies, therefore we cannot lend for planned expenses like rent or utilities. We are also not able to lend towards NAIT tuition, fees, textbooks or other foreseen school-related expenses.

NAITSA Textbook Learning Loan
The NAIT Students’ Association (NAITSA) Textbook Learning Loan Program provides eligible students with a $100 loan to assist with textbook purchases that are required for your course . This program operates on a pay-it-forward model, encouraging students to repay the loan at the end of that current academic year (April 30th)
To qualify for the NAITSA Textbook Learning Loan, the borrower must:
- Be a current NAITSA Member
- Demonstrate financial need
- Have not previously received a loan from this program during the current academic year.
- Be registered in a class that requires a textbook for completion of an assessment(s)
The maximum loan amount is $100 per academic year, and the loan must be repaid by April 30th of that academic year.
NAITSA reserves the right to close the program at any time and restrict the number of applications submitted and/or approved.
