NAIT International Student Airport Welcome Booth

Jul 5, 2026 | Off-Campus, Volunteer

Looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity this summer?

Join the International Student Airport Welcome Program and help welcome new international students to Edmonton as they arrive for their studies. This city-wide initiative brings together volunteers from post-secondary institutions across Edmonton to create a welcoming and supportive arrival experience for students from around the world.

This is a great opportunity to meet new people, support international students, and build valuable leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.

Volunteer roles include:
• Team Leads (training takes place in the evening of August 5)
• Airport Ambassadors (training takes place in the evening of August 12)

Volunteer responsibilities, shift options, and transportation details will be provided during training. No previous volunteer experience is required — just a positive attitude and a willingness to help.
Volunteer shifts will take place from August 17–31, 2026.

Sign up for volunteer training and learn more on the event page.
