I’m Marina Bruno, and it brings me great joy to continue serving as your Vice President Academic for the 2024/2025 academic year!

As a NAIT Alumni, and current student; my journey at NAIT started back in 2015 when I got accepted into the Personal Fitness Trainer program. I am now pursuing my Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Human Resources Management. Throughout my tenure, I’ve integrated myself deeply into the NAITSA community, from my early days as a service hub assistant and peer supporter to my current role as your academic advocate.

While prioritizing academics is important, I highly encourage you to dive into campus life and make the most of your time here; it will pass by quickly! Take advantage of the opportunity to make memories and friendships that will last a lifetime.

My commitment to you remains steadfast: to foster an environment where you feel safe, at ease, heard, and empowered. As your VP Academic, I pledge to continue advocating for your needs within the NAIT community, championing policy changes, and providing non-partisan support. Working closely with the Student Academic Rights Advisor, I will ensure your concerns find resonance at every level. Whether you seek guidance, an empathetic ear, or a companion in meetings with NAIT staff, I am here for you.
