This August, we’ll be turning the William F. Lede Park (4524 – 47 Ave, Leduc) into the ultimate home run with tons of prizes to be won, delicious on-site concession, awesome music, beer garden, auctions, raffles, fun-loving entertainment, and inspiring stories from our brave wish kids. We would love to have you join us as a volunteer for this fun and memorable event!
DETAILS:
- Date: Saturday Aug 15th and Sunday August 16th, 2026 (7:00am-6:00pm each day)
- Location: William F. Lede Park 4524 – 47 Avenue, Leduc AB (onsite parking and transit accessible)
- Meeting Spot: Make-A-Wish table (behind concession building)
- To Bring: Make-A-Wish t-shirt (if you do not have one, it will be provided), comfy clothes and closed-toe shoes, water bottle, sunscreen
- Perks: Volunteers will receive Grand Slam baseball hat, snacks & food voucher for lunch
- Training: virtual training will take place in advance of event weekend
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- All volunteers must be 18+
- Photographer volunteers must bring their own camera and equipment
- First Aid volunteers must have valid up-to-date certification and provide proof of this to organizers
